Our Eco-Friendly Paper Manufacturing Process
At Weldon Papers, we turn wastepaper into high-quality, eco-friendly paper products through a series of efficient and sustainable steps:
Collection and Sorting:
Wastepaper is collected and sorted by type and quality.
Shredding and Pulping
The sorted paper is shredded and mixed with water and chemicals to create pulp.
Cleaning and De-inking
Contaminants and ink are removed from the pulp through cleaning and de-inking processes.
Refining and Beating
The pulp is refined and beaten to improve fiber bonding and paper quality.
Papermaking
The pulp is formed into sheets, pressed, and dried to create paper.
Finishing
The paper is calendered for smoothness, cut to size, and packaged.
